Liverpool reject linked with move away from the Premier League

Liverpool’s Mario Balotelli could be on his way out of the Premier League following reports linking the controversial striker with a move to Turkey.

The Red’s boss Jurgen Klopp publicly stated that Mario Balotelli has no place at Liverpook going forward.

“He’s not at the stage of his career where he should be battling with four or five other players for one or two positions,” Klopp said according to the Mirror.

“But this is not a situation where he should be battling with other players like this for one position, so it’s clear we need a solution.”

Meanwhile the Daily Express has stated that Fenerbahce have shown interest in Balotelli. The Italy international has frequently been linked with Turkish clubs over the past year.

The Express has also claimed that Balotelli is in talks with several Chinese Super League sides. The powerful striker joined the Red’s back in 2014-15, but has only managed to scored one Premier League goal in 16 appearances.

The former Manchester City striker was also axed from the Italy national team, failing to earn a single call-up since the end of 2014.
