Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho gives Spain international a second chance

Manchester United’s newly appointed manager Jose Mourinho is set to hand Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini and Daley Blind a lifeline.

The trio were earmarked to be sold however, according to the Daily Mail Portuguese tactician has performed a U-turn and is prepared to give the three players a chance to prove themselves.

However, the Daily Record claim that Mata along with Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind have been put up for sale and that United will listen to offers.

The Express are also reporting that United are willing to listen to offers in the region of £20 million for the Spanish international.

Mourinho offloaded Mata to United while he was manager for Chelsea for £37.5 million. The 29-year-old provided 11 assists and scored ten goals in 54 appearances in all competitions for Manchester United last season.
