After completing his £15m move to Bournemouth on Thursday, Jordon Ibe has paid tribute to his coaches at former club Liverpool.

The 20-year-old thanked coaches Frank McParland and Alex Inglethorpe as they received special mentions for their part in his progression in the early years of his career.

While he will now have to deal with a different type of pressure that comes with moving to another Premier League side for such a significant fee, he’ll hope to build on what he picked up during his time at Anfield.

Ibe made 58 appearances for Liverpool after joining the club in 2011, but failed to establish himself as a regular starter for Jurgen Klopp last season.

In turn, he has opted to move elsewhere to start a new chapter in his career, as Eddie Howe continues with his ambitious plans at Bournemouth to continue their progress after protecting their top-flight status in the Premier League last season.
