Arsenal were snubbed by Jamie Vardy earlier this summer – according The Telegraph – but the Gunners are now favourites to sign his Leicester City wingman Riyad Mahrez.
Mahrez was named PFA Player of the Year last season after firing the Foxes to Premier League glory with 17 goals and 11 assists from an attacking midfield position.
Leicester’s fairytale success brought them global fame, but their star players have also grown in profile, which has left the club facing a fight to keep Claudio Ranieri’s history-making team together.
Vardy may be staying, but midfield dynamo N’Golo Kante looks set for a move to Chelsea, after a £32m fee was agreed, as reported by Sky Sports.
And Mahrez could also be on his way, with The Guardian claiming that the 25-year-old will reject the offer a new contract with Leicester and seek to leave the King Power Stadium.
Now skyBET are offering odds on where Mahrez will end up this summer.
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are the 3/1 favourites to sign the Algerian international, with Barcelona (10/1), PSG (12/1), Manchester United (16/1), Manchester City (25/1), Chelsea (28/1) and Real Madrid (33/1) the other runners in the market.
