Barcelona star Arda Turan is happy at his current club according to his agent Ahmet Bulut despite being linked with several other clubs.
Bulut revealed to Emre Sarigul that Turan’s main priority is focusing on next season at Barcelona: “Arda is currently happy at the club [Barcelona].”
Despite several statements that Turan is happy at the club from both his agent, the player himself and Barcelona board members, reports linking the midfielder with a move aboard continue to circulate.
Bulut once again denied rumours linking Turan with a Barca exit today to Calcio Mercato but for the first time hinted that a summer exit may be a possibility.
The agent did however, hint for the first time that leaving Barcelona could be a possibility.
The agent told Calcio Mercato: “I know nothing of Milan’s interest in Arda. At the moment I can only say that he wants to remain with Barcelona. I don’t know, however, what could happen during the transfer window.”
AC Milan have become the latest club to be linked with Turan but the Premier League may be a more attractive destination for Turan considering he did reveal last season that he would consider playing in the league and he was looking for a flat in London.
The Sun only recently reported that that Chelsea and Arsenal are also in a race to sign Turan and that Barcelona would be willing to accept a £23 million deal for the experienced midfielder.
Turan joined Barcelona from Atleti last season on a £29 million move and made 25 appearances for the La Liga champions last season despite missing the first half of the season due to a FIFA transfer ban imposed on the club.
