Zouma could be key player for Chelsea under new manager Antonio Conte.

Multiple publications, including The Sun and Metro, have claimed that Conte is likely to play 3-5-2 at Chelsea.

Therefore, Zouma – who was starting frequently alongside captain John Terry before his horror injury – has an much increased chance of featuring, as there may be three spots for centre-backs, compared to just two in Chelsea’s old 4-2-3-1 system.

Furthermore, 3-5-2 often uses a sweeper and, with his impressive pace, Zouma would be a prime candidate for that role.
