Chelsea are preparing to launch a huge bid for Real Madrid’s Spain international striker Alvaro Morata according to The Sun.

The report claims that the newly appointed Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has set his sights on the former Juventus striker with Diego Costa weighing up move away from Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have already strengthened their attacking options having signed Michy Batshuayi but Conte is keen to sign yet another attacker.

Real Madrid used a buy-back clause in order to sign Morata from Juventus for £25 million this summer. However the La Liga giants are prepared to offload the Spain international at the right price.

The 23-year-old striker who scored seven Serie A goals for Juventus last season, has also been targeted by Napoli according to the Sun.

The report goes onto say that Napoli are lining up Morata as a potential replacement for Gonzalo Higuain if he is to leave this summer.
