Manchester United star linked with PSG move

The Ligue 1 champions PSG have become the latest club to join the race to sign Bastian Schweinsteiger according to the Sun.

The report states that the Red Devils are prepared to sell the Germany international this summer however, the Germany international is demanding all of the £14 million he is set to receive over the next two-seasons if he does part ways.

The Sun go onto say that Schweinsteiger is understood to be happy at the club. United’s newly appointed manager Jose Mourinho wants to trim down the squad and the midfielder is expected to be among the casualties.

Besiktas are one of the clubs planning a move for Schweinsteiger according to the the Daily Star. The Turkish Super League champions have set sights on the experienced midfielder ahead of the upcoming season.

The report goes onto state that Adnan Januzaj, Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia and Phil Jones are also facing the exit at Old Trafford

Schweinsteiger was left out of United’s squad which travelled to China for their pre-season tour.
