Chelsea v Liverpool: Predicted Line-ups – Sturridge out

Liverpool take on Chelsea in the International Championship Cup clash against Chelsea at the Rose Bowl in the early hours of the morning.

Reds summer signings Loris Karius, Marko Grujic and Sadio Mane could all start but Joel Matip and Lucas Leiva are out injured.

Liverpool’s injury crisis has been mounting up and Tiago Ilori, Joe Gomez as well as Mamadou Sakho are also sidelined.

Sakho has in fact been sent home by Jurgen Klopp after falling out with the head coach. The Reds will also be without Daniel Sturridge according to ESPN.

Liverpool will also be without forwards Christian Benteke and Divock Origi while summer signing Georginio Wijnaldum will also miss the game against Chelsea.

Lazar Markovic, Alberto Moreno, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Danny Ings are however, available.

Emre Can has returned to the squad after his holidays but is not likely to start considering he only returned to training after a lengthy break a few days ago.

Recently appointed Chelsea boss Antonio Conte meanwhile may give his summer signings N’Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi some playing time.
