Paul Pogba signs Manchester United shirt for fan but keeps world waiting to seal deal

Paul Pogba is understood to be on the verge of a return to Manchester United this summer, and it appears he’s doing little to hide that fact.

After joking on Instagram on Saturday morning that he was having a ‘medical’ at Universal Studios as part of his on-going post-Euro 2016 holiday in the USA, a United fan later made the headlines.

Having got Pogba to sign his new United jersey, with ‘Pogba 6’ on the back, it was quite the collectors item for the 18-year-old who was celebrating his birthday.

With the first United jersey that the French international has signed ahead of his expected transfer in his possession, it’s quite the coup as he will now hope to see Pogba make the move back to Manchester.

Reports on Friday suggested that United were merely waiting for Juventus to give the green light for him to undergo a medical, with the terms of the deal all agreed.

However, Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, took to Twitter on Friday evening to insist that there was no truth in the media reports which ultimately left United fans frustrated again as they await the end of the transfer saga.

With just two weeks to go before the Premier League campaign gets underway, it remains to be seen how long the 23-year-old will have to settle into his new surrounding and get fit for the season.
