Liverpool target Axel Witsel would prefer a move to Juventus according to the La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Per the source, the Zenit St Petersburg star favours a move to the Italian giants and could be brought in as a replacement for Paul Pogba who is on the verge of completing his move to Manchester United.
The report also claims that Liverpool and Everton are both in the race to sign the Belgium international.
Juve may be favourites to sign Witsel but they have yet to reach an agreement with Zenit regarding his transfer fee.
Chelsea have also been closely inked with a move for Witsel and Zenit want £28 million according to the Sun.
The Sun state that the Russian giants will have to accept a bid before the £32 million they paid Portuguese giants back in 2012 for him as he has just 12 months remaining on his current contract.
The 27-year-old is also reported to be keen on a pay-rise taking him above the £80,000-a-week he is currently on at Russian top-tier outfit Zenit.
