Inter boss desperate for reunion with Man Utd ace

Recently appointed Inter manager Frank de Boer has made Manchester United defender Daley Blind his transfer priority according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Per the source, De Boer wants to be reunited with his former pupil who he coached during his stint at Ajax.

De Boer only has limited time to make the necessary changes to his squad after replacing Roberto Mancini as head coach earlier in the week.

The Dutch manager has identified signing a defender as a priority and would prefer a player he has worked with before in order to reduce the settling in period.

United could give Blind the green light to leave as Jose Mourinho continues to rebuild and restructure his squad.

According to The Daily Record, Mourinho’s rebuild also involves trimming the current group with Juan Mata, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo all to be put up for sale.

Blind joined United for €16 million in 2014 and was a favourite under previous manager Louis van Gaal.
