Manchester United ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic has jokingly credited himself for Paul Pogba’s decision to re-join the Red Devils.

The Swede arrived at Old Trafford earlier this summer, and has since seen the club splash out £89m on the former Juventus midfielder to significantly strengthen the squad.

Pogba left United on a free transfer in 2012, and had been linked with a return to Manchester all summer with staggering figures being touted in the media.

However, Ibra apparently believes he played a big role in convincing Pogba that a return to United was the right move, and the pair will now hope to now play a major part in the club’s bid to get back to the top of the Premier League.

It all looked a little tense in his Instagram post, as seen below, with the pair facing off, but ultimately it’s all a bit of fun as both players will look to strike up a chemistry on the pitch and emerge as pillars of United’s success in the coming months and years.

Finally my shirt brought him back. @paulpogba
