Galatasaray target Bastian Schweinsteiger was left out of Manchester United’s match day team going into their opening Premier League game of the season against Bournemouth.

United won the game 3-1 and considering the circumstances Schweinsteiger was able to show dignity in praising his side for the victory on Twitter after the game.

United have been criticised for the manner in which they have treated the experienced midfielder. Head coach Jose Mourinho left the 32-year-old out of the pre-season campaign and has banished him to train with the reserves.

FifPro member manager Dejan Stefanovic went as far as claiming United head coach Jose Mourinho should be sent to prison for his treatment of the experienced midfielder according to the BBC.

ESPN FC, report that the experienced midfielder is attracting plenty of interest from England while Turkish sports newspaper AMK revealed that Galatasaray want Schweinsteiger on a loan move and are willing to pay up to €3.5 million of his €6.5 million salary.
