Liverpool flop has not agreed deal with Turkish giants says agent amid reports of Crystal Palace deal

Liverpool striker Christian Benteke has not agreed terms with Turkish giants Besiktas according to his agent Eris Kismet.

The agent told Emre Sarigul that reports from Turkey claiming that the Reds had agreed to a loan deal with the Black Eagles were false.

Kismet said: “There is no deal at all and nothing is happening with Besiktas.”

Besiktas president Fikret Orman is currently in England and was reported to have held talks with a number of Premier League outfits over singing a striker.

The Istanbul giants lost Mario Gomez over the summer have been trying to replace him before the end of the transfer window with Champions League group stage football looming.

It now looks like Benteke will join Crystal Palace after all despite the Reds rejecting two previous offers made by the London based outfit.

The Eagles have stuck a deal with Liverpool worth £27 million which could rise to as much as £30 million according to the BBC.

The report claims that the Belgium international striker is on his way to London where he will undergo a medical.
