(Photos) White Hart Lane is now officially a 3-corner stadium… Meanwhile Tottenham stars get used to Wembley

Tottenham Hotspur this week used Instagram to provide an update on the progress of the White Hart Lane redevelopment.

In truth, the word redevelopment doesn’t tell the whole story. Spurs are dismantling their current home brick by brick and moving to a bigger better stadium a couple of metres down the road.

This season will be Tottenham’s last at the old Lane, but they will not move into their new ground straight away.

Instead, Spurs face playing the 2017-18 campaign at Wembley.

Spurs will also use Wembley this season for their Champions League matches.

As well as sharing an image of White Hart Lane with one corner now fully removed, Tottenham’s Instagram account gave fans some photos of Spurs players training at Wembley as Mauricio Pochettino’s men attempted to get used to the national stadium ahead of their European adventure.

Tottenham will play their first Champions League group game in mid-September.
