Benfica midfielder nicknamed Yaya Talisca due to similarities in his style of play and physique with Yaya Toure is set to join Besiktas on a loan deal according to club president Fikret Orman.

“Talisca will join us next week, the transfer went ahead like planned,” Orman was quoted as saying by Emre Sarigul.

A source close to the club revealed that the Black Eagles want Talisca on a two-year loan with a buyout clause option.

Talisca was closely linked with a Liverpool move recently with the Daily Star reporting that the Reds were ready to pay £20 million for the Brazilian international.

The Sun meanwhile claimed that Talisca was Wolves bound linking the 22-year-old with a whopping £20 million move to the Championship based outfit.

Wolves have received an injection of cash following their takeover by Chinese investors Fosun who wished to use their links to super agent Jorge Mendes to push through the deal – Fosun hold a minority stake in Mendes’ management company Gestifute.

The 22-year-old midfielder scored twice in the Champions League last season, making 21 appearances in the Portuguese league.
