Joe Hart is set to say farewell to Manchester City fans as he nears an exit from the Etihad this summer according to the Express.

Per-the-source, City are closing in on a £17m deal to sign Barcelona’s Chilean international Claudio Bravo.

The report states that Hart is set to start against Steaua Bucharest on Wednesday evening in the Champions League play-off clash after spending the opening three games of the new season on the bench.

The Express says that it is likely to be Hart’s farewell game because as Bravo is also expected to join City tomorrow.

Meanwhile, according to the Daily Mail, Everton have cooled their interest in the England international as they are unwilling to match the £7 million cost of Hart’s wages and loan fee.

The report goes onto state that Everton boss Ronald Koeman has also been impressed with the performances of his current first choice keeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

Hart joined City from Shrewsbury back in 2006 for just £750,000 and is the Citizen’s longest serving player. The experinced keeper kept 18 clean sheets in 47 apperances for City last season.
