After waiting three months for a major Arsenal transfer, fans look to be in luck as the Gunners are on the verge of completing two in the same day according to The Sun.

Per-the-source, Arsenal struck a £35 million deal with Valencia for the Germany international defender Shkodran Mustafi.

The report goes onto state that Arsenal have also triggered the £17m release clause of Lucas Perez Martinez from Deportivo La Coruna. The Sun also reports that the duo are expected to arrive in London tomorrow to undergo medicals.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been desperate to bolster his defensive options with the summer transfer window closing next week. The north London based club are currently facing a defensive crisis following injuries to Per Mertesacker and Gabriel.
