Arsenal transfer news: Bayern Munich to sign Gunners midfielder who got less game time than Jack Wilshere last season

Today’s headline Arsenal transfer news is all about Jack Wilshere, who Sky Sports claim could be set for a loan move away from the Emirates Stadium.

Wilshere has struggled with major fitness issues throughout his career. The 24-year-old only got 37 minutes of Premier League game time last season.

Another Arsenal player who has battled injury recently is Serge Gnabry.

Gnabry featured even less than Wilshere last season, getting just 12 Premier League minutes all campaign.

Those 12 minutes came for West Bromwich Albion during a loan deal which was cut short.

Gnabry’s Arsenal career now seems set to be cut short too, with Bild reporting that the 21-year-old German youth international is poised to sign for Bayern Munich.

According to Bild, Bayern will loan Gnabry to fellow Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen shortly after securing his signature.

Gnabry has played 18 senior games for Arsenal in all competitions, including 10 in the league.

His only goal for the Gunners came during a 2-1 win at Swansea City in September 2013.
