David Luiz Chelsea transfer talks are ongoing, according to Sky Sports.

Sky claim that the 29-year-old feels he has “unfinished business” at Stamford Bridge following his £50m move to PSG two summers ago.

A Sky source says Chelsea are “in the thick of negotiations”, despite their initial bid being worth just £30m – £20m less than they sold him for.

Luiz made 81 Premier League appearances for Chelsea between 2011 and 2014.

In all competitions, Luiz turned out 143 times for the Blues, helping them win the FA Cup and Champions League double in 2012, before claiming Europa League glory 12 months later.

Since moving to Paris, Luiz has won back-to-back Ligue 1 and Coupe de France titles.

Luiz has played against his former club four times with PSG, who won twice against the Blues, as well as drawing on two occasions.

Should Luiz return to Chelsea tonight, his second debut would likely come against Swansea on Sunday, September 11.
