Tottenham left it late to sign Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle United. Spurs beat Everton in the race to sign the France international with just an hour remaining in the transfer window deadline on Wednesday night.
Shortly after completing his five-year transfer Sissoko was off again this time travelling to Italy ahead of the international friendly against the Azzurri at the Stadio San Nicola.
Tottenham fans may be pleased to know that Sissoko came on as a substitute for France in their convincing 3-1 victory.
