Man Utd’s Ibrahimovic and Man City’s Yaya Toure not good enough for Pep Guardiola, despite ‘losing seven kilograms’

Yaya Toure’s agent Dimitri Seluk has gone on yet another extraordinary rant after Pep Guardiola left the Ivory Coast international out of Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League squad.

Seluk interestingly told the Daily Mail that Toure will look to leave the club in January after Guardiola failed to appreciate the midfielders weight loss.

“Yaya in January can sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs abroad,” Seluk told the Daily Mail.

“He will have many offers from clubs. China and America of course they want him but we will have a lot of offers from England and Europe. He is in very good shape, very good condition, I think he lost seven kilograms.

Seluk went onto criticize Guardiola for selling Zlatan Ibrahimovic while he was manager of Barcelona,

“Maybe that’s not good enough for Guardiola, but then Zlatan Ibrahimovic wasn’t good enough for him.

“In January we will see. It is three months to wait – no problem. Yaya is a very professional guy.”

Yaya Toure has been a key figure in City’s midfield in recent years, winning two Premier League titles, a FA Cup and two League Cups since joining form Barcelona.

However, Guardiola was the manager who offloaded Toure to City during his spell in charge of the Catalan giants.

Toure provided seven assists and scored eight goals in 47 appearances in all competitions for Manchester City last season. The Ivory coast international was however criticized by pundits for his performances in central midfield.
