Manchester United stars were left ‘open mouthed’ by the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic according to the Red Devils youngster Andreas Pereira.
The Belgium international told The Sun that the Sweden international’s arrival upped the standards at Old Trafford. Pereira went onto say that his teammates were especially impressed with the Swede when he turned up with his own physio.
“When he arrived, everyone could see that he was a real professional,” Pereira told the Sun.
“Just by his physical appearance, you can tell he is professional as hell. He just wants to win – he only thinks about football.
“He brought his own physiotherapist with him, to treat him at the club. Everyone was left open-mouthed by that.”
Ibrahimovic joined United on a free transfer after his contract with PSG expired at the end of last season.
The 33-year-old has been an instant success at Old Trafford, scoring four goals in four games.
Zlatan is once again expected to lead the line for United when they take on their bitter rivals Manchester City this weekend in the Premier League.
Both Manchester based clubs have gotten off to flawless starts this season however, United look to have the edge going into the game following a suspension to City’s star striker Sergio Aguero.
