Earlier today, the London Evening Standard revealed that this announcement was imminent and that Spurs and Eriksen had agreed terms of £75,000 per week, which works out as £3.9m a year.
Earlier reports – cited by Standard Sport – claimed that Eriksen had demanded £150,000 a week.
However, Eriksen appeared to deny these rumours at the time by telling his followers not to believe everything the internet tells them.
Not the result we wanted! But still one point and great support from the fans?

Eriksen was one of Tottenham’s star men last season, scoring six goals and providing 13 assists in 35 Premier League games.
