Arsenal sent a shout out to former striker Nicklas Bendtner on their official Twitter account today following confirmation that he has joined Nottingham Forrest on a free transfer.
The Gunners did however, issue Lord Bendtner – as he was also known during his time in London – warning him not to score when the two sides meet in the League Cup on 20 September.
The powerful striker scored 47 goals in 171 appearances for Arsenal, but after failing to establish himself as their first-choice regular, he moved on in pursuit of success elsewhere.
Good luck at @NFFC, [Lord] @bendtnerb52 – apart from on September 20 of course pic.twitter.com/qEVQ7sO7ZY
