Manchester United suffered a humiliating 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford against arch rivals Manchester City.
Record breaking United signing Paul Pogba started for United but he failed to make much of an impact.
United lost their first game of the season after winning their first three matches. City meanwhile moved into first place in the league after winning their fourth consecutive match.
We took a look at how fans reacted to the France international’s display on social media.
There were conflicting opinions with some fans blaming Jose Mourinho for playing him out of position while others blame Pogba for not trying hard enough and then there are those who simply do not believe he was worth £100 million.
What is certain is that Pogba must up his game if he is to keep United fans on his side this season.

As said before, Pogba plays best in a 4-3-3 formation. 4-2-3-1 inhibits him and he can't get as forward as he wants. Mou should switch.

Is Jose Mourinho regretting signing Pogba? it is a bit early to really be passing judgement on the France international he deserves a few months at least to settle in and prove himself.
