Nice forward Mario Balotelli marked his debut for the club with two goals in their 3-2 win over Marseille on Sunday, but his post-match interview has gone viral too.
The Italian international was receiving treatment after the game, but Canal+ decided that they couldn’t wait until he was done to get his reaction to his performance.
While the reporter managed to try his luck in Italian, French and English, Balotelli was able to give a few of his thoughts while also becoming puzzled as to what his interviewer was saying at times.
Having had enough after a minute or so, Balotelli thanked those watching before waving goodbye and getting on with his massage.
Despite all of his setbacks and disappointments throughout his career, when the 26-year-old gets it right on and off the pitch, it’s fair to say everyone still loves him.
