Edison Cavani had a night to forget despite scoring the fastest Champions League goal in history.
The Uruguay international scored inside 42 seconds to put PSG ahead at the Parc des Princes stadium. According to Opta sports the goal was the fastest in Champions League history.
However, Cavani’s night went downhill following his early goal. The powerful striker missed several clear cut chances throughout the game including an open goal.
PSG were made to pay for missing their chances when Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez found the back of the net towards then end of the game.
Following the final whistle, we took to social media to see how fans reacted to Cavani’s misses.
If Giroud had missed half the chances Cavani missed tonight, twitter would have exploded. ???

3 – Edinson Cavani is sleeping at the Parc des Princes tonight as he missed the bus home by 3 yards. Typical.

Cavani is so bad, I don't understand how anyone would want him for the asking price PSG wanted.

Cavani handed the Arsenal MOTM tonight. Single-handely got Arsenal a point by missing a sh*tload of chances.

Good if fortuitous point for Arsenal. Never gave up. But lucky Cavani took only 1 of 4, 5 chances. Ospina excellent. Giroud daft, silly ban

Can't defend Cavani anymore after this.

Remember when PSG fans said Cavani was better than Lacazette?? He's not even better than Cornet. He's so bad.
