(Video) Two former Arsenal targets combine to open scoring as PSG break Gunners down inside 42 seconds

Lots of professional footballers get linked with Arsenal at some point or another.

And two of them have just combined to leave the Gunners 1-0 down against PSG after just 42 seconds of play in Paris.

Full-back Serge Aurier overlapped down the right and delivered a lovely cross for Edinson Cavani, who glanced a neat header past David Ospina.

Aurier was linked with interest from North London as recently as February when Fichajes claimed that the Gunners had reignited their pursuit of the Ivorian, who they apparently first wanted before he joined PSG in 2014.

Cavani is also reported to be a long-term Arsenal target. The Express said in June that the Gunners were ready to sign him for £120,000 a week if they didn’t sign Jamie Vardy.

Well, they didn’t and they didn’t!
