Manchester City hope to take on Borussia Monchengladbach tonight in the Champions League – should the weather permit – after the game was abandoned yesterday due to torrential rain.
City revealed via their official twitter account that they expect the game to go ahead today as planned but the picture they shared sparked a social media storm.
The Premier League outfit tweeted a picture that had the message: ‘MONCHEN-GLAD-BACH-ON’.
Get it? the match is ‘bach on’…
At least it beats the usual generic tweets that are usually churned out by football clubs.
