Real Madrid looked down and out going into the 89th minute of regulation time against Sporting Lisbon in their opening Champions League group stage tie.
The home side were losing 1-0 and were on the verge of an embarrassing defeat until Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to the plate and proved to the world that he can actually score a free-kick.
