Tottenham transfer news: Real Madrid ready to sell deadline-day Spurs target in January

Tottenham Hotspur were linked with Isco (per BBC Sport) on Transfer Deadline Day and, although they failed to sign him then, they could be more successful in January.

That’s because, according to Spanish publication Sport, Real Madrid are now ready to sell the 24-year-old, who has fallen out of favour at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Isco has only made one La Liga appearance so far this season and that only lasted 17 minutes.

The 24-year-old was left out of Zinedine Zidane’s matchday squad for Wednesday’s Champions League win over Sporting Club and that has sparked the player to seek a transfer, so say Sport, who also claim that Real are ready to grant that wish and sell in the winter.

Isco joined Real back in 2013 when he signed from Malaga. Since then he has won two Champions League titles and one FIFA Club World Cup.

His current contract is due to expire in June 2018.
