Barcelona have set their sights on signing the Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin in January according to the Spanish outlet Sport.
The report states that Barce boss Luis Enquire is lining up the Spain international as a replacement for Dani Alves who departed for Juventus over the summer.
Much like Cesc Fabregas, Bellerin made the move to Arsenal from Barcelona as a youth team player and has established himself as one of the best full-backs in the Premier League.
Per-the-source, Barcelona are planning to open talks with Arsenal in the coming weeks.
The 21-year-old provided eight assists and scored one goal in 44 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal last season. Bellerin has also made six appearances for the Gunners this season.
Bellerin played the full 90 minutes during Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with PSG in the UEFA Champions League last week. The Spain international is expected to start for Arsenal when they take on the Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend.
