Dele Alli given interesting new wage on six-year Tottenham deal

The England international midfielder Dele Alli has extended his contract with Tottenham today.

Alli has put pen-to-paper on a new six year deal keeping him at the north London based club until 2022.

Tottenham announced the deal on their official Twitter page along with the statement, We’re delighted to announce that Dele Alli has signed a new contract with the Club which will run until 2022.”

According to the Standard, Alli has doubled his income at Spurs and now earns approximately £55,000 per week.

Alli made his first appearance for Tottenham on the opening day of last season and has scored 10 goals in 46 matches for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

The 20-year-old also earned a call-up to the England national team squad which competed at Euro 2016 over the summer. Alli was also included in Sam Allardyce’s latest England squad.

Tottenham returned to winning ways last weekend with a win over Sunderland. Spurs host Gillingham in the League Cup on Tuesday before taking on the newly promoted Middlesbrough in the Premier League this weekend.
