Pogba’s agent questions Arsenal’s balls in the transfer market, praises Man Utd

Arsenal have no shortage of money, in fact they are one of the wealthiest clubs in the world. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger does however, have a reputation as being rather tight with the pursestrings – much to the dismay of many fans of the North London based outfit.

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has become the latest high profile personality to question Wenger’s ambition in the transfer market.

In fact he questioned whether Arsenal have the balls to pull off a record breaking transfer like Manchester United did with Paul Pogba.

“It’s not just a case of spending the money,” Raiola told the Daily Mail. “It’s shouldering the responsibility and saying ‘yes, this is my man’. Arsenal have the money, but do they have the balls?”

Raiola did however, state that he admires Wenger and realised that signing a player that is worth what Pogba is does not fit the philosophy of the manager.

“I respect Arsene Wenger. He has a philosophy that says the figures [I am paid] don’t match what I do, but that’s okay. I know Wenger likes Pogba but the price Juventus set for him doesn’t fit his philosophy,” he added.

Arsenal may however, end up having the last laugh if United’s three game winning streak extends much longer.

The Gunners are on a three match winning run in the Premier League and have close the gap with league leaders Manchester City to five points.
