Manchester United are preparing a move for Real Madrid’s out-of-favour playmaker Isco according to the Mirror.

Per-the-source, Jose Mourinho is keen on a move for the Spain international and wants the transfer done in January. Madrid may be willing to let Isco go seeing that he has started just one game for the La Liga giants this season.

The report goes onto state that Mourinho is planning further revisions to the squad despite already spending £150 over the summer.

The move could see Wayne Rooney lose his place in United’s starting line-up. The England international has been deployed as the Red Devils advanced playmaker recently however, he has come under intense criticism from United fans for his performances of late.
