Manchester United’s out-of-favour playmaker Juan Mata has defended his teammates following three consecutive defeats.

United have suffered back-to-back losses against Manchester City, Feyenoord and most recently Watford FC.

However, Mata still believes he and his teammates can achieve ‘great things’ this season.

ITV shared Mata’s quote on their official Instagram page which reads, “I believe the team is capable of doing great things this season. That’s how I feel.”
