Reigning Premier League champions Leicester City take on Manchester United today without star goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel who has been ruled out with injury.

Schmeichel is out of Leicester’s United clash as well as the Champions League home tie with Porto on Tuesday and is expected to miss next Sunday’s home game against Southampton as well according to the Sun.

The Danish international keeper has suffered a recurrence of the groin problem that resulted in a minor hernia operation recently.

German keeper Rob-Robert Zieler is expected to replace Schmeichel over the next few games until he makes his return.

The Foxes are currently 11th in the league with seven points from their first five games. Leicester got off to a rocky start but have started to find their form and are coming off the back of a 3-0 win over Burnley.

United meanwhile are in 7th place on nine points but have been in poor form lately having lost their last two consecutive league games.
