Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann revealed he rejected a move from PSG over the summer transfer window.
Griezmann was asked whether he received an offer from the French giants during Euro 2016 to which he responded [via Mirror]: “Yes, but as it was during Euros I told my agent I did not want to listen.”
Per the source, the French international star is United boss Jose Mourinho’s number one transfer target.
Mourinho has started making his move for Griezmann via third parties but there is no deal currently on the table.
Griezmann signed a new deal with Atleti earlier this summer to keep him at the club until 2021, while head coach Diego Simeone signed a new contract last March which ties him at the club until 2020.
The Atleti ace still has another five-years remaining on his current contract but Atleti will reportedly consider selling their star man if their valuation is met.
The French forward scored 32 goals in 54 appearances in all competitions last season, his best return yet after scoring 25 the previous season.
