Harry Kane is expected to return to full fitness ahead of the north London derby. Tottenham take on their bitter rivals Arsenal on November 6.
The England international striker was initially expected to be out for ten weeks after injuring his ankle during Spurs 1-0 win over Sunderland.
However, scans have revealed that the damage to Kane’s ankle is not as bad as initially feared.
Tottenham have been unable to defeat Arsenal in their last five encounters at the Emirates Stadium
“Half an hour ago, we received the information about the scan,” Pochettino was quoted as saying by TalkSport.
“I am not a doctor, it’s hard to say one, two, three weeks, but it’s much, much better than we expected.”
Kane is however still expected to miss England’s World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia next month.
The 23-year-old has scored 62 goals in the past three seasons at White Hart Lane. Kane also won the Premier League Golden Boot with 25 goals last term.
