Cristiano Ronaldo has had a great night in Germany, scoring Real’s first and assisting their second with a powerful cross to the far post.
But clearly the Portuguese is still feeling the pressure after being substituted at the weekend. in the video below, the attacker clearly takes a kick at Borussia Dortmund fullback Marcel Schmelzer, who had run across to block Ronaldo’s attacking movement in the penalty area.
We’ve seen Ronaldo’s petulant side plenty of times before, and he could face a ban for this action if UEFA are feeling particularly harsh, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him let off either.
