Manchester United take on Stoke City in the Premier League on Sunday hoping to build upon a recent run of results which has seen them win back to back games.
United boss Jose Mourinho revealed in his post match press conference summer signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan has returned to training and hinted that he may feature against the Potters.
Mourinho also revealed that Luke Shaw could also be available but Phil Jones will definitely be out.
“Phil Jones is the only one with an important injury and definitely out for more weeks to come,” Mourinho explained as quoted on the official United club website.
“Micki is training now with the team. Luke is ill but hopefully he will train with the team too [on Friday]. We are fine in terms of our condition.”
In other Man United team news Mourinho did not comment on whether captain Wayne Rooney will return to the team after providing Zlatan Ibrahimovic with the assist in the 1-0 win over Zorya in the Europa League on Thursday.
Rooney came on as a substitute in the mid-week clash but may return to the starting line-up following his display against the Ukrainian minnows.
