Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has admitted that he keeps close tabs on his international teammate Paul Pogba, according to Four Four Two. The France international went as far to say that the duo regularly snapchat each other.
Per-the-source, Griezmann has stated that he gets on well with the 23-year-old and watches him play whenever possible.
The report goes onto state that Pogba made the move to Manchester United for a world-record £89 million.
Pogba scored his first and only goal for United during their 4-1 thrashing of the reigning Premier League champions Leicester City last month but the France international has so far failed to live up to his price tag under Jose Mourinho.
“We get on very well. The Euros brought us even closer – he’s a really nice guy,” Griezmann told Four Four Two.
“We send messages, Snapchats. When he plays for his club, I try to watch to see if he’s had a good game or not.”
Griezmann was the star of the show at Euro 2016 for France and picked up the Golden Boot after netting six goals and two assists. The hosts were eventually defeated by Portugal in the final.
Manchester United take on their bitter rivals Liverpool on October 17. Jurgen Klopp’s side come into the clash having recorded five wins in a row.
