Man United team news: Herrera makes Spain squad, 4 players makes England team

Manchester United may not be in the best of form but several players from the squad were called up for international duty for their respective national team.

Ander Herrera has received his first full Spain international call-up and could win his first cap if he makes an appearance in the World Cup qualification Group C clash against Italy or Albania.

Herrera has established himself as a first team player under the stewardship of Jose Mourinho and has been one of the most in form players in the team.

Four United players were called up for the England national team in Wayne Rooney, Chris Smalling, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.

In other Man United team news Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial made the French national team which will take on Bulgaria and the Netherlands.

Meanwhile Sergio Romero and Marcos Rojo will travel to Peru with Argentina and Antonio Valencia has been included in the Ecuador side that will take on Chile and Bolivia.

Eric Bailly has received a called up for the Ivory Coast and Fellaini has returned to the Belgium side which hosts Bosnia and also faces Gibraltar.

United have requested that the injured Henrikh Mkhitaryan does not travel to Armenia to feature in their qualifiers due to only recently recovering from injury.
