Roy Evans turned 68 today and Liverpool wished the former Reds player and manager a happy birthday via their official twitter account.
Liverpool shared a few pictures of Evans including one of him lifting the 1994-95 League Cup which was the only trophy he won as a coach at the club.
Evans was promoted to reserve team coach aged 25 by Bob Paisley who persuaded him to hang up his boots for the Boot Room.
The long serving coach became Liverpool manager in 1994 and coached alongside Gerard Houllier in 1998.
