Danny Ings offered Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp a timely reminder that he is still available and capable of scoring goals following the Reds latest Under-23 clash against Ipswich Town.
Ings scored a hat-trick during the game and now has seven goals for Michael Beale’s side this season.
The 24-year-old has found it difficult to break into the first team due to injuries and competition for a place in the Reds attack with Firmino, Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi, Sadio Mane and Coutinho competing for a place in the final third.
