Arsenal midfielder playmaker Santi Cazorla has revealed his thoughts regarding Arsene Wenger’s future at the club, according to the Mirror.

Per-the-source, the Spain international has backed Wenger to put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the north London based club.

Cazorla went onto insist that Wenger has not hinted at leaving and that the feeling in the Arsenal dressing room is that Wenger won’t be leaving at the end of the season.

“The boss has not indicated that this will be his last year. Not at all. He is fully focused on this season and I do not know what he is planning for the future,” Wenger was quoted as saying by the Mirror.

“Today I do not rule him continuing another season because he has not said he will leave.

“It is in his hands and he is the one who has to make the decision but today I would say that he may continue.

“Arsene is an icon at the club. He has spent 20 years here and every bit of praise to him would not be enough.”

Wenger’s future at the club has been called into question after 20 years in charge of Arsenal with his contract set to expire in July.

The report goes onto state that the French tactician has also been and he has been linked with the England job following Sam Allardyce’s sacking.

Arsenal take on Swansea City in the Premier League this weekend as they look to continue their winning run. The Gunners are unbeaten in eight and have won their last five.
