Although we’re all pretty much in international mode at the moment, Manchester United is a club that attracts headlines twelve months a year. We have have kindly rounded up the best of it for our readers.

First up is a report from French outlet Le10Sport, who claim Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is being scouted by Manchester United after coming to Jose Mourinho’s attention.

After years of an influx of midfielders at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson, United may one day struggle to fit them all at the Carrington training ground.

A steep €25m price tag is being touted for the 22-year-old defensive midfielder which is peanuts to a club of United’s wealth.

Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford continues to hit headlines for all the right reasons — not something England youngsters are renowned for.

The 18-year-old striker has won Manchester United’s Player of the Month award for September after scoring three goals in six games. He found the back of the next against Watford, Northampton Town and Leicester City.

Tens of thousands voted in the poll, and it was Rashford who won with an impressive 75% of the votes, according to the official Manchester United website.

Moving on, lets talk about Ravel. A line Sir Alex Ferguson probably came out with in regards to the troublesome United Academy product.

Ravel Morrison was once seen as United’s best prospect in a FA Youth Cup winning side (2010) that consisted of Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard. And Calciomercato are currently reporting that a Premier League switch is on the cards, although Lazio don’t want to lose Morrison permanently.

But it is hard to imagine Morrison back on the same pitch as Paul Pogba, unless the former was part of the opposition.

Perhaps he will be handed another opportunity in England’s top flight.

Lastly, Morgan Schneiderlin is being linked with a move to Serie A giants AC Milan, according to the Express.

The Frenchman’s 2015 transfer to United from Southampton has not gone to plan, failing to cement a spot in the first-team and making just one Premier League appearance so far this season, so this could be seen as a get out of jail card for more game time.

As a result of football being limited to Schneiderlin, the defensive minded player lost out of a spot in the France Euro 2016 squad, which was already packed with high standard of midfielders.
