Willian was a second-half substitute as Bolivia beat 5-0 last night.

After the game, the Chelsea playmaker dedicated the victory to his mother, who is currently fighting cancer.

Willian’s caption roughly translates as: “This victory yesterday, it was for my warrior, My MOTHER!!! I love you so much.

International breaks give Willian a rare chance to return home to visit his ill mother.

It must be very hard for him to work so far away while she struggles.

This is just proof that money does not make you immune to pain and hard times.
